The Wikipedia Library now offering accounts from Cochrane Collaboration (sign up!)[edit]

The Wikipedia Library gets Wikipedia editors free access to reliable sources that are behind paywalls. Because you are signed on as a medical editor, I thought you'd want to know about our most recent donation from Cochrane Collaboration.

Cochrane Collaboration is an independent medical nonprofit organization that conducts systematic reviews of randomized controlled trials of health-care interventions, which it then publishes in the Cochrane Library.
Cochrane has generously agreed to give free, full-access accounts to 100 medical editors. Individual access would otherwise cost between $300 and $800 per account.

Please comment on Talk:Epilepsy[edit]

Hi there! I see you are a member of the WikiProject Medicine and a neurologist. There is some disagreement between editors with regard to the article on epilepsy, in particular if we should have a separate section "mechanism" there. Some arguments have been made (summary: [1]). An RfC did not really help, because it is unclear what the "mechanism" is supposed to be at all, since (unlike other diseases) there are a variety of causes of epilepsy. An outline for content on the issue has been made [2] but not yet agreed on. Possibly you could have a look there. Jophiel 15:15, 17 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
