Welcome...

Hello, Hamza883, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. May 2007[edit]

Please do not use styles that are unusual or difficult to understand in articles, as you did to Jerusalem. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Spellcast 17:25, 23 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summary[edit]

When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

Edit summary text box

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field, especially for big edits or when you are making subtle but important changes, like changing dates or numbers. Thank you. Sefringle 06:57, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reverting[edit]

Quick thing about reverting vandalism. Thanks for doing so, but please also leave a message on the perpertrator's talk page. I don't do this if I'm in a hurry, and it's not required, but it is courteous to leave a message. Some preformated messages can be found here. If you need any help using them, just ask me on my talk page. Thanks, Southern Illinois SKYWARN (talk) 19:05, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:HeathLedgerJackNicholsonJoker.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HeathLedgerJackNicholsonJoker.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:21, 16 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
