Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I'm glad to see that you took an immediate interest on registering to editing the article about Tiger Force. Please make sure that your edits conform to the neutral point of view policy- I agree with you that it did seem much too negative before, but several of your additions seemed not to be neutral, or were overly praising of the article's subject. I have nothing but respect for veterans and those that serve in the military, but just make sure that the tone of the article stays encyclopedic. Altogether, though, your edits look pretty fair. I don't know if this is the manner to answer your post, but I will try. If Fairness and even handedness was what was required, you wouldn't have allowed the posting of the original article. Itis obviously an effort by the aurthours to bang their own drum, and to further disparage the men of Tiger Force. If there where any fairness in the first posting of the article, the introductory paragraphs would be three pages long. Finally, i have encouraged others in Tiger Force to register, and alter the article as they see fit. There are at lest 20 men on my mailiing llist with davanced degrees including PHD's in history and english lit, who will make enties. Last thought. the image of the Tiger Force emblem, including the 101st patch are not public domain. The TF patch is a self made item, and not an authourized government issue patch. It came from my collection and is copyrighted. The 101 Patch is a modified image, and not the original or official patch of the 101st Airborne. Together they make a unique and privately owned image, that is mine and mine alone. whoever posted it, stole the image from my web site.

(Example: ~~~~) By any means, I encourage anyone interested in the subject to help edit the article. I recently edited it myself to help with a couple spelling errors and things. By any means, I agree that the article in its original form was too negative and you making some of the claims more neutral was the right thing to do.

If you want to know more about Wikipedia's neutral-point-of-view policy, the link to it is here: WP:NPOV. The only problem that I saw in your edit of the article was what I thought was a veiled attack on the author of the criticism book- as bad a person as he might be, the right thing to do in this case is just find sources showing he was wrong, and let him dig his own grave with his false allegations.

As far as the 101st patch or other copyrighted image, the image was uploaded by a user named Smoth 007, and he listed it as a government-created patch. You might ask him about that at his talk page. If that's not true, it might still be legal to use under the Fair Use criteria (You can read about this at Wikipedia:Fair Use). Hello Hankpac, I just listed the image for deletion under Wikipedia copyright guidelines (criterion I4). Unfortunately, I cannot verify the image origin as I found it on a p2p network while I was looking for pictures relating to the Vietnam War. I sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding, my intentions were solely in good faith.

Harold Trout's name was added to this list by the Authors of the Blade articles, not by anyone else. Harold is one of the alleged perpetrators of the alleged criminal actions in 1967. He is a retired SGM, and may still be working at the Sheriff's department near Fort Campbell, KY. Whether or not you remove his name is your business, I didin't put it there. Thank you.
