[edit]
Hello, Hans van Deukeren, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. Check out the Simplified Ruleset. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at the Guide to layout, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Trying to locate you to discuss your Ptolemy maps

[edit]

Hello Hans,

I hope you see this! I have not seen any record of your official work since your 2002 publication, nor records about your elsewhere online, but found more recent edits here and hope this contact method works!

I have been going through an archive of your Ptolemy map, trying to download and assemble the larger-scale maps to see all the locations in a single map file that can be zoomed in and out. As you probably guessed well before I did, this has proven difficult because (as you may have heard) the earth is round :).

I am interested in Eurasia, and wanted to see if had accomplished your plan to create large-scale maps. Alternatively, if you have time to discuss a specific region, I would be extremely grateful. I did contact one organization based on your sources, but I am not confident they'll respond.

Thank you for your time. Winspiff (talk) 21:45, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
