I notice that one of the first articles you edited appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or any other editor to proofread it. It is also worth noting that Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which specifically link them to one company or corporation. If your username does have such a name, it would be advisable for you to request a change of username.

Inappropriate user name[edit]

However, I noticed that your username (HarrogateCollege) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because "Unambiguous use of a name or URL of a company, group or product as a username is generally not permitted." - please see WP:ORGNAME.. I was wanting to update the biographical information about Harrogate College. It is not currently in the same template as other colleges in the Yorkshire area and I wanted it to look consistant with other pages. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leeds_City_College is how I intend the Harrogate College page to look. References to the notable former students that I've added will be included. If the account cannot be unblocked then I would very much like the Harrogate College page to be reset to how it was before the changes were made and the removal of the note that has appeared at the top of the page (with the scales etc). It wasn't an attempt to radically overhaul the content or promote our college, merely to bring it up to the standard of other pages on Wikipedia.
