I'm no welcoming committee member, but I think everyone's supposed to get the above template at some point, remove it at your leisure.

Thanks for the image, it's appreciated. At the risk of looking a gift horse in the mouth, I'd like to make some suggestions though, Wikipedia handles captions well, so unless you make a diagram pointing to specific parts of an image, it's preferable to put information on what the image is in the notes rather than as part of the image, especially because images are often shared across different languages. Secondly, if you think a large portion of your work will involve images you might consider creating an account on the commons also.
