Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test on the page Oliver Cromwell worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Some of your edits were good and can be re-inserted, but your final revision left the page broken and was reverted. --haydn_likes_carpet (talk) 03:14, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of military commanders[edit]

Another editor has added the {{prod}} template to the article List of military commanders, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the editor doesn't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and has explained why in the article (see also Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not and Wikipedia:Notability). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia or discuss the relevant issues at its talk page. If you remove the {{prod}} template, the article will not be deleted, but note that it may still be sent to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. List of conservationist[edit]

I'm afraid i'm going to nominate this for deletion; the content is already included in "List of conservationists which redirects to category:conservationists. Please search for a topic before creating an article to make sure such an article does not already exist. Thanks! Ironholds 15:45, 24 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Abo Hafs Omer Al-Baloty has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thank you. Nomination of List of military commanders for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article List of military commanders is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of military commanders until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. — LlywelynII 14:40, 20 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
