Hey there. You reverted my edit, but you unfortunately do not understand the subject matter. De Morgan was not alive in 1960. All I did was change 1960 to 1860. Why was this reverted? If you won't let a visitor edit it due to the IP, at least correct it yourself. His book was released in 1860.

In fact, the footnotes say this. So I was only making the article consistent. But you for some reason attacked me for "disruptive editing." So, your "vigilance" has allowed an error to remain on Wikipedia.

See, Wikipedia, this is what happens, and why professionals like myself will never take this site as proper for citations by colleagues or students. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.109.220.6 (talk) 14:55, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Apologies for the mistake, but the mistake had been there for sufficient time that I assumed it to be correct. You left no edit summary to explain it was a mistake, and not being registered + the fact that either you or your IP has a history of disruptive editing meant I took the edits to be vandalism. I apologise - and you are of course free to edit the change back in, but you may wish to consider creating an account :) Hattic (talk) 15:05, 28 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

June 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Indian_logic&diff=436679173&oldid=436678966, did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
