Speedy deletion of Image:Hello20.jpg

[edit]

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages such as Image:Hello20.jpg, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Hello20.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Optigan13 (talk) 00:14, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Thanks

[edit]

Sure. I think welcoming new users is very helpful and makes them feel less intimidated when editing articles. Happy editing, Malinaccier (talk) 00:24, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What's going on?

[edit]

You seem like a sane, responsible individual, being an admin and all. So what's with the goatse/masturbation picture uploads? ♠PMC00:39, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

So far as I can ascertain, this user has 25 contributions. — pd_THOR | =/\= | 00:44, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, serves me right for looking at userpage before contribs folder, heh. I was just adding this message when you edit-conflicted me - "You know, on second look, that doesn't appear to be true at all. I'm nuking your adminbox, since you're not one. Please don't restore it; it's generally considered bad form to misrepresent yourself." ♠PMC00:49, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The pictures were clearly not constructive; while Wikipedia isn't censored, we expect that images uploaded are to be used encyclopedically. And Goatse isn't exactly encyclopedic; you can see the Talk page to see general consensus on that. Also, the fact that you were attempting admin actions like unblocks and AFD closes suggests that you are misrepresenting. I support the block on you, as it appears you're only here to troll. ♠PMC19:27, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unblock request handling

[edit]

Hi. Please do not decline or accept unblock requests from blocked users as you did here at User talk:Pwned by the parents!, because you do not have the technical capabilities to actually perform the unblock. Unless the user is deliberately and obviously abusing the unblock template (in which case you are permitted to revert), please do not do this in the future. Cheers, Spebi (talk) 08:50, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, I have reverted your close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sneha Anne Philip; clearly the debate had only started today and to close it the same day when only one opinion had been voiced was a bit too much. I'm sorry if it appears that I am going around and screwing up your edits, I'm not trying to do that. If you want to become an administrator someday, you will need to make a request at WP:RFA but I strongly recommend against requesting until you gain further experience with the project. If you need any further help, feel free to ask me. Cheers, Spebi (talk) 08:56, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your request for admin

[edit]

Just a gentle suggestion that you consider withdrawing your RFA before things start rolling. You have less than 50 edits, amongst other things which I won't point out, but others may. It might be better to graciously withdraw, rather than having the RFA closed shortly. Yngvarr (c) 09:59, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Block

[edit]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Having a wonderful time (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I am not a troll, I wish to edit constructively. If I am not mature enough to be an admin then so be it, but I am here to help.

Decline reason:

You are clearly a user who has trolling in mind when editing, I would also like to suggest that you may be a sockpuppet of Hamish Ross or Defleppardsdrummerhasonlyonearm, but this is unverified at this moment in time. Rudget. 11:11, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
