Although you like to joke about being a Wikipuppy, make sure that the bulk (majority) of your edits go to articles, you'll earn a ton of respect from many other valuable contributors and also, administrators will also respect you greatly if you make most of your contributions to article space, it is also very rewarding, people will trust you with various tools, such as reviewer and rollbacker. Just thought I'll point out two things:

Hawkmist, please also note that these questions are hypothetical, that is, a "What if this happens". If it is written in the question that "abc has happened", we assume that it has, and judge the question on the sceneario in question, not to think whether or not it has actually happened.
