A tag has been placed on Haydenfims Online Film Festival requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article] (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Re: Your help needed[edit]

Hi, sorry for not coming back to you earlier. As you can see, there is a consensus among editors here that your article does not fit the encyclopedia. Your article was deleted under our speedy criteria G11, which means that it was advertisement. After double checking, I still agree that his tone was definitely not suited for an encyclopedia. That being said, I think the subject by itself is not notable enough to be included. Note that I tagged the article you showed me for deletion, the nature of Wikipedia means that you cannot make an argument based on what other articles do or do not exist; because there is nothing stopping anyone from creating any article, and we cannot monitor every edit. One last note on our conflict of interest guideline: you should not create an article based on a subject you are closely related to, because by essence you can't write neutrally about it. I hope I explained to you what happened, and why creating articles about your festival is a very bad idea. You can see our Business FAQ for more information. -- lucasbfr talk 12:06, 9 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Dr. Armond Levy, MD[edit]

Hello Haydenfilms,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Dr. Armond Levy, MD for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Wittylama 19:58, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not put promotional or incomplete articles in the Wikipedia main space. They will be deleted. This is an encyclopedia and is not a place to host material designed for publicity purpose.
If you would like to create a well-referenced, educational article, work on it in your sandbox. Also, seek help at Articles for Creation for guidance on what is expected in a Wikipedia article (third party sources, neutral point of view, non promotional, etc.). Read the Welcome message that was left for you (above) which includes links to lots of resources to help new editors. Liz Read! Talk! 21:02, 11 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
