Teacher retention[edit]

Hi, Helenbehr. I looked at your draft and made a short change to the introduction to make it a bit more general. Some comments:

  • The sentence "Researchers and policy makers have identified..." doesn't have a source. How does the reader know that the push/pull distinction is important to the discipline? You could cite a textbook here or the paper itself, but a critical reader will want to know how the claim is supported. If it's mentioned in one of the other articles you cite, you'll want to re-use that citation.
  • Phrases like "Recent policy efforts" will become outdated quickly. Someone reading the article in 2020 may not find them so recent. It's better to note the year they were enacted.

I look forward to seeing this develop more. Let me know if you need a hand with anything. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 17:44, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
