Undefined behavior[edit]

I just read your edit. While I believe we should find a way to make the definition clear, the current variant is wrong. It is not the code that does not have a prescribed behavior - compilers don't generate code that just results in undefined behavior when executed. The undefined behavior is a result of not satisfying assumptions the code depends on. I'm working on improving the introductory sentence. -- Martinkunev (talk) 11:21, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Martinkunev : You're right! Thank you for catching that! I didn't spend as much time as I should have on that edit. I wanted to improve the introductory sentence with a minor copy edit and ended up removing a critical piece of information. -- helios2k6 2016/01/28 21:02:52 (UTC)
