Welcome![edit]

Hello, Help.Football.History, and Welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions to this free encyclopedia.

First of all, why me? And second of all, it is done: Template:Campeonato Regional Centro.

I have set to myself the challenge of spending the whole month of March exclusively creating wiki pages (as you can see on my contributions); fortunately I am now creating your talk page, but after this, I can only talk to you in April (sorry), so I am going to try to help you as much as I can now.

In order to create pages, you need to click on the red links (for example, 1904 Campeonato de Madrid or 1939 Campeonato Mancomunado Centro) write the article and then publish it. If you are unable to do it, it's because you account is too recent (I think you have to wait around 5 days). Until then, you can keep doing small edits or perhaps expand the history section of the Campeonato Regional Centro (this page also exists in the Spanish Wikipedia, so you can use it for guidence).

When you start creating, I recommend you use my 1903 Campeonato de Madrid as a blue print (without the background section). Try to always find at least 3-5 references (https://www.rsssf.org/tabless/span-centrchamp.html, https://web.archive.org/web/20190819152048/http://www.leyendablanca.galeon.com/tempo04.htm, https://www.zerozero.pt/competicao/campeonato-del-centro/2929), because if you don't, they are going to delete the page for not being "notable". I know that pages such as 1928–29 Campeonato Regional Centro do not have any references, but that page was made in 2012, when the surveillance of the rules was not as strict as it is today. Before publishing a page, always check if there are no major mistakes by using this botton that says "preview".

I also recommend that you start with the 1939 Campeonato Mancomunado Centro (the result of all the matches are here: https://www.bdfutbol.com/en/c/temporada.html?id=479&tab=results), because it has more refs and because it does have his own page in the Spanish Wikipedia (here), so you can take the blueprint from there. It is also bigger than the first editions, so it will serve as a nice first challange for you.

If you have doubts, you will have to fend for yourself or wait until April. Kind regards, Barr Theo (talk) 16:30, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your username and the date. Also, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field. Barr Theo (talk) 16:30, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Links to draft articles[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to 1985–86 Divizia C. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 12:32, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
