July 2016[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions. Please mark your edits, such as your recent edits to Ethiopia, as "minor" only if they are minor edits. In accordance with Help:Minor edit, a minor edit is one that the editor believes requires no review and could never be the subject of a dispute. Minor edits consist of things such as typographical corrections, formatting changes or rearrangement of text without modification of content. Additionally, the reversion of clear-cut vandalism and test edits may be labeled "minor". Thank you. Dawnseeker2000 16:17, 1 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

October 2016[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm DRAGON BOOSTER. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Ethiopia without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DRAGON BOOSTER 16:45, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see that as propaganda. It appears to be a report on internal problems. If you disagree. Please start a wp:RfC on talk:Ethiopia. Please read: wp:BRD - get wp:consensus before making such major changes. Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 17:01, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

October 2016[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ethiopia. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 17:26, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Ethiopia, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at Ethiopia. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  CIreland (talk) 18:25, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ethiopia article[edit]

Please be aware that the English language Wikipedia servers are on United States soil and are not regulated by Ethiopian law. I doubt that the article will be edited to your liking. If you wish, please discuss on talk:Ethiopia. See wp:BOLD, revert, discuss cycle and wp:consensus. I would recommend a wp:Request for comment Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 20:02, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for continued disruptive editing, as you did at Ethiopia. Doug Weller talk 15:35, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I've only blocked you for 24 hours this time. But you must not delete material from this article on the basis of any Ethiopian laws unless you can get consensus on the talk age. If you continue to delete material you are likely to be indefinitely blocked. Doug Weller talk 15:37, 7 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon This is your only warning; if you remove or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia again, as you did at Ethiopia, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Wikishovel (talk) 17:03, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because it appears that you are not here to build an encyclopedia. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may request an unblock by first reading the guide to appealing blocks, then adding the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Doug Weller talk 17:11, 8 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I was engaged in an edit war which I now realize was very disruptive. I have learned not to participate or initiate an edit war in the future

Decline reason:

This might be plausible, except this was the third time you've been blocked for edit warring, and you've received and read many, many warnings about edit warring right here. What's changed now? Given your previous deliberate edit warring, how can we be sure you'll never edit war again, if unblocked? Yamla (talk) 13:26, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
