November 2009

[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Battle of Konotop. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. tedder (talk) 02:57, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You have been blocked for a week for "tag-team" revert warring together with (and probably coordinated with) User:Voyevoda; especially for taking over his revert wars while he was blocked, and an evident instance of forbidden proxy-editing for the blocked user through your block appeals to User talk:Will Beback (the English of those messages is so good they can impossibly have been written by you, so I must assume Voyevoda dictated them to you.) You are also hereby put officially on notice that under the rules of WP:DIGWUREN#Discretionary sanctions, you will be placed under a topic ban if you resume any disruptive editing after your block. Your block has been extended to 2 weeks because of your block evasion through 79.139.202.149 (talk · contribs · WHOIS). Fut.Perf. 13:02, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I only have asked questions which and you should set. Users break your rules:
  • No unconstructive editing: any edit that serves to shift the POV balance so much towards one side that a reasonable observer must know in advance that it will be unacceptable to the other side and will be reverted, is strictly forbidden.
  • Slow down the reverts: If another editor makes an edit you find unacceptable, you are not allowed to revert it at once. Go to the talk page first, explain your objections, wait at least 4 hours to allow for discussion; then, if you still must, revert.
I am sorry--HenrichB (talk) 13:28, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
