Information icon Hello. Your recent edit to Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person or organization added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. I do not doubt that the named individual is real. However, she is not notable. SummerPhD (talk) 21:55, 26 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. Your recent edit to Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome appears to have deleted the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries, you are correct there. However all of the books are note worthy in the TTTS section. SummerPhD

Conflict of interest

[edit]

Information icon Hello, Hero2316. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article Twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 03:47, 28 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

All books I put there have been reviewed by doctors and physicians, and suggested by many hospitals that treat the illness. You can read the for your self and see that. to ignore them is to ignore the truth and research.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Hero2316 (talkcontribs) 19:43, March 3, 2014‎
Your edit summary claims that you do not have a conflict of interest. Please be aware that your apparent close ties to Bruch[1] constitute a conflict of interest.
As to whether or not either of these books belong in the article, please see the discussion at Talk:Twin-to-twin_transfusion_syndrome#Vanity_press_.22further_reading.22 and respond there. - SummerPhD (talk) 20:15, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

@summerPhD I have been responding.Forever linked was NOT self published. It was published by a publisher in Atlanta. Smith's book was self published. All funds received from the sales of Forever linked was donated to The TTTS Foundation, and the Fetal health Foundation. Also if you Read chapter 3 in Forever Linked. You will find the illustrations that will show 1 Placenta that needs to be modified. This book educates the reader of the disease and treatment options. It puts the reader in the minds and places of each mother that has joined in the book. It recognizes how to communicate and discuss the disease with your doctor. It is recommended read for medical: nursing: ultrasound: and pediatric students, doctors, nurses, psychologist, and parents. It is in the (ACOG) American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology’s library. It is recommended for existing parents, and surviving parents, and patients of TTTS across the globe. It is great reference for NICU Moms, families of those who have watched a loved one cope with TTTS and or a miscarriage, still birth, and infant death.~~@Hero2316~~
