License tagging for Image:Two neutrino oscillations through the sun.gif[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Two neutrino oscillations through the sun.gif. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 21:09, 27 November 2006 (UTC)

Wenger photo[edit]

Hi. I really appreciate your photo, which in my opinion looks better. However, since a free-license image already exists on Wikipedia, the fair-use rationale won't hold water with many editors, so I reverted the change. I've opened up a discussion on the article's talk page if you're interested. Thanks. Xiner (talk, email) 02:11, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Please do not move images to avoid their deletion, as you did with the image on Wenger's article. It could result in you being blocked. Thank you. Xiner (talk, email) 03:44, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding inappropriate images to Wikipedia. If you continue, you will be blocked from editing. Xiner (talk, email) 03:51, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop adding in the image Image:Arsene.gif to the page Arsène Wenger - it is not correctly licenced under a free licence, unlike the incumbent version. Please leave it be. Thank you. Qwghlm 09:31, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
