The article Higitals has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable neologism.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Deletion

[edit]

I've put the text here for you to work on till it's ready. I'll be interested to see how you establish notability for a term less that a year old Jimfbleak - talk to me? 19:28, 11 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not totally convinced of the notability, given it's very recent and could be obsolete in a few months if it falls out of fashion. But you have referenced it appropriately, so I suggest you move it to article space and see what happens (I'll leave it be). One query, why does the last ref go to an index page instead of the page you want (and I'd also lose the underlining from the spaces in that one)? Good luck Jimfbleak - talk to me? 05:49, 29 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Note the word 'Higitals' was invented by Brand Keys for their 2012 Digital Platfrom Engagement Index. The sources you list are either written by Brand Keys staff or simply copy-pasting a release about the Index e.g. the Forbes blog post is by the Brand Keys president, Pasikoff; the Visibility site is clearly a press release by Brand Keys; the Marketing Site website is quite clearly repeating the Visibility press release, as is the Branding Magazine article (again by Pasikoff); the Slide Share presentation is by Pasikoff; the Media Post article doesn't mention 'Higitals'. Evidence needs to be provided to show the word has has "substantial use and press coverage" i.e. independent of Brand Keys and in reliable sources. Sionk (talk) 17:12, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 18:43, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.  You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose.

If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. If you prefer to be unblocked for the purpose of changing your username to a username which complies with our username policy, so that your contributions with this username are recorded as contributions of your new username and rather than creating a new account, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice instead. Thank you. Your draft article, Higitals

[edit]

Hello Higitals. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled Higitals.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Higitals}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 01:01, 7 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
