Being a mayor and a candidate for U.S. Senate is not enough for a WP page in and of itself. The sources cited are either the city's website, election results, or routine coverage of his administration or campaigns from local media outlets. Doesn't seem to satisfy WP:GNG or WP:NPOL.

Hey @Hilton80, just trying to understand your edit. This edit claims to add a citation to verify that Gilbert was raised in OKC, graduated from John Marshall High School, and wrote for two newspapers. The only problem is the source you added makes no mention of any of these facts. So what's the deal with this edit? TulsaPoliticsFan (talk) 16:59, 19 October 2023 (UTC)
