Akashi Kaijin[edit]

Thank you for your excellent corrections to this article. (And I note that you've also created ja:明石海人 during the last few days.)

The figure of 250,000 looked very suspect to me. On the other hand I have no knowledge of prewar Japanese poetry publishing (only mere hunches).

The English article could be a lot better; for example, talking about 新万葉集. But with my lack of materials and ignorance of Japanese poetry, I'm not the best editor for this job. -- Hoary (talk) 22:20, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Hoary. Thank you for your comment and correcting my poor English. 250,000 copies is widely used also in Japan but its base looks very weak.
Since 新万葉集 (Shin Man'yōshū) was published in 1937 it is difficult to access to it---in many cases users are restricted themselves to reading it only in libraries even in Japan so that you should not worry about it. --HinokisOfRoma (talk) 14:51, 1 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
