Bugger nationalists[edit]

I've got it on my watchlist now, thank you. Nationalists tend to be a bugger. Zazaban (talk) 20:27, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Syrian party[edit]

Actually, I'd never heard of this organization until my recent visit to the page, and all I did was to correct the spelling of Adolf Hitler's first name, a little cleanup operation that I do periodically. I know nothing of these people, nor of their symbols. This job will require someone who has some knowledge of the subject.Kelisi (talk) 23:10, 25 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

AIV[edit]

Thanks for making reports to WP:AIV, but please read what constitutes vandalism. Some of the reports you submitted were content disputes and at least one report, there haven't been any edits in the last few days. Jauerbackdude?/dude. 19:59, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

User notice: temporary 3RR block[edit]

Regarding reversions[1] made on February 26 2009 to Syrian Social Nationalist Party[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a short time in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for violating the three-revert rule. Please be more careful to discuss controversial changes or seek dispute resolution rather than engaging in an edit war. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below.
The duration of the block is 24 hours.

This is on the assumption that you are User:Wikipedius Reparo.

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

William M. Connolley has incorrectly labeled me a sock of User:Wikipedius Reparo, and blocked my account based upon "the assumption that you are User:Wikipedius Reparo." This is incorrect. I am not User:Wikipedius Reparo. I also see that William M. Connolley has blocked User:Wikipedius Reparo for being a sock of me. Also incorrect -- please also unblock User:Wikipedius Reparo's account.

Decline reason:

You look so much like the same user to me that I couldn't justify undoing this block. FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 22:55, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I see that you've made an honest mistake here:
On a second look, this looks a bit more dubious. I've indef'd W as a sock of User:Histopher Critchens and blocked HC for 3RR William M. Connolley (talk) 20:03, 26 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
This is incorrect: I am not User:Wikipedius Reparo.

Botched block review of Histopher Critchens and Wikipedius Reparo[edit]

Please see this comment:

Again, I am not Wikipedius Reparo. Wikipedius Reparo is not me. The claim that my "contribs are suspicious" is absurd -- back this up with one single example, rather than tossing around unsupported allegations. Please unblock Wikipedius Reparo's account. I can understand honest mistakes, but this is becoming ridiculous -- I'll file a complaint against the offending admins unless you all clean this up quickly. I'm a bit confused here, as an admin just coming into this issue - if you're not Wikipedius Reparo, then why are you requesting an unblock of that user's account? AKRadeckiSpeaketh 16:38, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Because they fouled up the first unblock request from the both of us, and I'd like to attract some fresh eyes to get this cleared up. Now that you're here, would you please have a look, especially at Mangojuice's correct observations and my request to Wikipedius Reparo? Histopher Critchens (talk) 16:44, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Besides, if I really were Wikipedius Reparo and wanted to create a sock puppet, then I'd just go off and create a new one. But I'm not interested in this, and neither apparently is Wikipedius Reparo, so I just want to clear my account of these unjustified and unsupported sock puppet allegations, which also means clearing Wikipedius Reparo's too. These allegations and the block don't stand up -- so please get this fixed. Histopher Critchens (talk) 16:50, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Two things, after reviewing the situation: 1) I feel that your edits to remove material about yourself crossed the line with our conflict of interest and wp:npov guidelines. It would be better for you to recuse yourself, and if you are concerned about factual accuracies about content relating to you, go through the email process at Wikipedia:Contact us/Article problem/Factual error (from subject), or contact a neutral admin. 2) Let WR speak for him/herself. One of the big red flags that attracts admins who deal regularly with socks is when one editor "appeals" on behalf of another for whom there is already suspicion. So, in conclusion, I'd strongly suggest that you just drop this whole issue, and find other articles to edit (heaven knows that there are plenty!) where yours will be a neutral voice. AKRadeckiSpeaketh 18:02, 6 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"I feel that your edits to remove material about yourself crossed the line" What are you talking about? I have never made any edits to remove material about myself. My reaction to all this is just to give up and walk away from Wikipedia entirely if constructive edits are met with unsupported claims of sock puppetry and "removing material about myself." See ya. Your username[edit]

Hey, if I switch around the first letters of your first and last name I get something similar to Christopher Hitchens. Am I onto something? Just curious. Best, --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 06:19, 27 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PSU CSA: Tangential homage[edit]

I allowed myself to reflect a bit today on the course of the article and (just had to) register an homage to a part you played. Thanks. Cheers. Swliv (talk) 13:50, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
