Proposed deletion of Utterly Hopeless
[edit]The article Utterly Hopeless has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Fails WP:NFF with no secondary sources confirming the commencement of filming.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. McGeddon (talk) 09:49, 2 May 2016 (UTC)

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. McGeddon (talk) 08:25, 3 May 2016 (UTC)
Battle of Thermopylae (1941) edits
[edit]Gday and thanks for your interest in improving our article on Battle of Thermopylae (1941). Unfortunately it looks to me like much of the information you added with this edit [1] has been copied and pasted from the source at [2]. As such this is probably a copyright violation and is against Wikipedia policy (pls see WP:COPYVIO). If you would like to reword the information using your own words and then re-insert it into the article using citations for attribution though that is fine and would improve our coverage of this topic (pls see WP:CITE for information on citing sources). All the best. Anotherclown (talk) 00:29, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Anotherclown, Thankyou for your response. I have checked on the copyright of the text I copied and as it is an educational government resource it says the following: "This work is copyright. You may download, display, print and reproduce this material in unaltered form only (retaining this notice) for your personal, non-commercial, educational and educational institutional use or use within your organisation. Apart from any use as permitted under the Copyright Act 1968, all other rights are reserved." Would you be able to revert the page back to what it was when I changed it (if this is all fine of course :D). Is there anything else I need to do? Cheers, HistorianAustralia
P.S. I posted this on your talk page then realized this was where I was meant to post it. Sorry. HistorianAustralia (talk) 03:25, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
- Hello again. No worries at all, pls do not feel the need to apologise for anything. I understand you are new here and are just trying to help to improve our content on an important event. I've responded to your comments on my talk page and am happy to continue the discussion there. Kind regards. Anotherclown (talk) 01:36, 9 June 2016 (UTC)
