[edit]why did you undo my revision? it was true fact! i want to give more fact than fiction. please respond when you can. History fan1234 (talk) 17:58, 10 November 2022 (UTC)
- I did not revert this change myself, but I am confident that the rationale was that you capitalized every single word for no discernible reason and there was no benefit to the encyclopedia from including information otherwise present in the article that was presented in such a non-conforming manner. Why did you use all of those capital letters? It doesn't make any sense and it's not standard English usage. You must be much more careful in your proofreading in this worldwide reference source- Julietdeltalima (talk) 18:11, 10 November 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm TornadoLGS. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, 2011 Tuscaloosa–Birmingham tornado, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. TornadoLGS (talk) 17:25, 8 July 2023 (UTC)
- i got that information from The Weather Channel's Real Time Tornado- Tuscaloosa, Alabama. the video included footage, photos, audio recordings, and people who were actually in the affected area giving their story on what happened. i am sorry if i forgot to cite my source. History fan1234 (talk) 12:24, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- and also, i couldnt add a source because Wikipedia denied my source. in case you are wondering where i got it here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yebhNVzCmAc ( i specified the title in my previous reply.) History fan1234 (talk) 12:28, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- i found i could reference it, so now it is cited (or referenced, i dont know what the difference is). and the Weather Channel has been found to be one of the most accurate weather channels out there. History fan1234 (talk) 12:35, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- In any case, it wasn't really relevant to the aftermath section. It might fit better in the tornado summary section. Do you know when in the episode this is mentioned? If it goes in, it would best go in the part of the section describing that part of the tornado's track. On another note, it would be best to just cite the episode directly (there is a template for doing that here). The link you gave was uploaded to YouTube by a third party, so it is probably a copyright violation. TornadoLGS (talk) 19:27, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- what do you mean by third party? i will change it. thank you. History fan1234 (talk) 23:08, 10 July 2023 (UTC)
- A third party, in a case like this, is someone other than the copyright holder or the owner of the website. It looks like someone not associated with The Weather Channel uploaded it to YouTube. TornadoLGS (talk) 04:17, 11 July 2023 (UTC)
