Vandalism by User:180.149.21.214

This user just vandalized Shah Amanat International Airport with random destinations. I saw your alert in his page that he'd be removed from Wikipedia if he did any vandalism again. Since I am new here, please remove him from Wikipedia.

Thanks, You can contact me in my user page. User:Ahnaaf —Preceding undated comment added 10:05, 16 May 2012 (UTC).

I just reported this to WP:AN/I. —Compdude123 22:29, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

Edit to Oakland International Airport

Who is this and why did you say that I made an edit to Oakland International Airport? I never did that. Please don't go around and make false claims against random users. 71.132.193.103 (talk) 22:45, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

United IAD-BKK service

A user added this service as a direct flight with no change of aircraft but the flight passes thru a United hub (Narita). There is a discussion at Talk:Washington Dulles International Airport regarding this. Thanks! Snoozlepet (talk) 23:03, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

Serious WP:BLP issue

In this edit, you restored some very serious WP:BLP issues that were only supported by primary and self-published sources. This material had been previously removed by this administrator. While your edit summary indicated that you thought the article was better with the information in it, WP:BLP far outweighs any issue of completeness.

Please do not restore that information unless it can be backed up with very WP:RS. Allegations such as this come under WP:REDFLAG: Exceptional claims require exceptional sources. Continued WP:BLP issues may lead to you being blocked. Toddst1 (talk) 20:47, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

August 2012

Thank you for trying to keep Wikipedia free of vandalism. However, one or more edits you labeled as vandalism, such as the edit at Ibero-American Summit, are not considered vandalism under Wikipedia policy. Wikipedia has a stricter definition of the word "vandalism" than common usage, and mislabeling edits as vandalism can discourage newer editors. Please read Wikipedia:NOTVAND for more information on what is and is not considered vandalism. Thank you. Toddst1 (talk) 20:49, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Please read User talk:Felipito1.966 including past versions. This user does not care about Wikipedia's MOS or any rules about English variety, and has received numerous warnings about it. So when he changed a working link (organization) to a non-working link (organisation), that is vandalism. HkCaGu (talk) 00:00, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

AA flight from SD to SAC

A booking code exists for service from SD to SAC on Alaska see here. Is the reason you don't want it in the fact that it is two separate flights? Gtwfan52 (talk) 07:25, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

(1) We list actual flights (nonstop or direct), not merely connections, otherwise anything can connect to anything and any airport in the world will be listed in any airport's page as a destination. See WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT. (2) We're looking at San Jose, not San Diego. Alaska ain't going to fly from San Jose to Sacramento, a mere 94 miles. In Alaska they probably would. HkCaGu (talk) 07:40, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
Thanks for the clarification. Think I will just stay away from airport articles like I do airports. TSA=TSA/SS in my book. Appreciate the help. Peace! Gtwfan52 (talk) 07:43, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Thank you for continuing reverting the edits that IP was making at BWI Airport and Newark Liberty Airport. I was wrongly blocked and so I truly appreciate that you continued it. Kairportflier (talk) 23:03, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

American Eagle @ SJU

American Eagle continues to be listed as a hub at the SJU page but those flights are operated under the AA umbrella. However, how can Cape Air be listed if it is a regional airline but American Eagle cannot be? Isn't American Eagle a regional/subsidiary of American Airlines? Can you take a look? Air Mic

Funny you mentioned the island hopper. I almost got stuck on that flight by a newbie travel agent (back in the dark old days of paper OAG and travel agents) until I noticed the flight was going to take 3 days to get there (ok, 14 hours, but still...). At least it would have been in the front of a comfy CO DC-10 (though hopefully one with working doors). I can't imagine that they stick people in the back of a 737 for the better part of a day now. Seems like it should be against the Geneva convention :)

BTW, you might find these stats entertaining: User:AlanM1/Record flights.

BTW2, I'm jealous of your state splashdown list, though I have more countries. Looks like I should have taken one of those old DL 727 cross-country state-hoppers at some point :) —[AlanM1(talk)]— 08:34, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

Sky King

you have removed the details of the layoffs and stated they are not encyclopedic. I firmly disagree, as the form which this layoff took place is a significant divergence is the corporate governance of Sky King and how it has traditionally done business. The fact the the former Chief Pilot Bill Reynolds and Director of Operations Norman Schott, were removed, by President Frank Visconti, then a out of seniority layoff transpires within days is a clearly historical and in the case quite accurate related to the governance of Sky King.

It is my intention to continue to report the facts related to Sky King. I have been and continue to be very close to this organiztion and can share a level of historical accuracy related to its function which accurate, timely and topical.

In closing, the information which was presented in my article is factual and does provide the reader with historical change with in this organization.

He's at it again

This guy continues to make vandal-like unnecessary WP:ENGVAR edits, respond agreesively, igonre warnings and good-faith advice, etc (Note especially that he removed your "final warning"). I'm pointing this out because I was considering filing an incident report at the administraters' noticeboard, when I noticed you had before. Since he has continued this pattern of disruptive behavior, there's probably enough reason to reopen it (and he's attracted the attention of several experienced editors, so you'll probably get more support this time). As it stands, I'm assuming the only reason he hasn't been blocked is because he deleted your warning. (Actually, he's removed two final warnings). Sky King =

HkCaGu what I have inserted concerning Sky King Inc. are relevant and recent facts. You continue to remove these facts. You are the one who continues to obstruct presenting the truthful facts. You are the one committing vandalism by trying to prevent the facts from being viewed. Olgarey (talk) 16:45, 26 September 2012 (UTC)olgarey

Your insertion of that information ahead of the opening paragraph is by itself bad faith vandalism. HkCaGu (talk) 01:44, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

American representative at the Hong Kong handover ceremony

I would like to ask which policy or guideline you would apply for your [1], please, as I could not think of any problem reporting American attendance to observe the major event. Thanks.--Jusjih (talk) 15:50, 28 September 2012 (UTC)

What part of the ceremony involved the US? None. If you include US representative, where does it stop? Many many other countries sent someone there. The ceremony is between the UK and China. And they sat on the main stage. Only that is relevant. A few dozens people sat behind in the stage, selected by and representing UK, China and HK. HkCaGu (talk) 16:19, 28 September 2012 (UTC)
I am proposing a compromise: to add a new section "International reaction" to the article Transfer of sovereignty over Hong Kong, as in the article Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, to describe how other countries and areas would react to Hong Kong handover, which would not highlight the ceremony.--Jusjih (talk) 15:58, 29 September 2012 (UTC)
That is outside the scope of the handover ceremony discussion and is best brought to the talk page there. HkCaGu (talk) 01:18, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Could you some help on the Albert Pyun page

The long awaited settlement for Pyun's MAX HAVOC film has arrived. I'm trying to post the results of it on the page as per editor consensus but some one keeps reverting edits to whitewash the whole thing. Any help you could give would be appreciated. American Airlines

Sorry that was joke. I mess up after many of beverages. (celebrate for World Series - did you watch?) --B767-500 (talk) 14:04, 29 October 2012 (UTC)

Thank you for helping out on Albert Pyun page.

Seems to me the page is trying to be controlled by Pyun as an advertising vehicle for himself. Thaks for keeping up on POV issues. It's exhausting to do on your own. Readyforanderson (talk) 16:19, 9 December 2012 (UTC)Readyforanderson

Disambiguation link notification for December 13

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bandaranaike International Airport, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Warsaw Airport (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Reverted invitation

Hi, I just wanted to ask about this edit. I don't have any knowledge of the affected user, but the block notice on his or her talk page seems to indicate that the only problem is English proficiency, not willful vandalism or anything at all like that. It seems likely this is exactly the kind of person who would benefit from an opportunity to meet other Wikipedians in person, offline communication can often succeed where online communication is difficult. I think it's better to leave the invitation intact. -Pete (talk) 16:32, 15 December 2012 (UTC)

Air China's flight from Karachi to Beijing

A user continues to add Beijing as a destination for Air China but that flight makes a stop at a domestic hub (CTU) and there is a terminal change as domestic/international flights operate from 2 different terminals. However, the user stated that the Pakistani Government overrides WP:AIRPORTS on this exception. Can you take a look? Snoozlepet (talk) 09:07, 17 December 2012 (UTC)

Someone made a note by the terminal for Delta that the airline is moving to Terminal 3 to connect with joint venture partner Virgin Atlantic. However, Delta is a SkyTeam carrier and most SkyTeam members are in Terminal where Delta is currently located. Can you take a look to see if this is right or not and see if you can find a source saying Delta is relocating to Terminal 3. I couldn't any news release indicating that Delta is relocating to Terminal 3 at LHR. Thanks! Snoozlepet (talk) 01:34, 20 December 2012 (UTC)
