Jet Airways to JFK

Do you know if Jet Airways is flying to JFK on May 1, 2014? Etihad's press release (http://www.etihad.com/en-us/about-us/news/archive/2014/etihad-airways-to-double-flights-to-new-york/) states that Jet Airways will operate the flight on May 1, 2014 with Etihad operating the flight on March 1, 2014. On Jet Airways destinations page, an IP made JFK a future resumption JFK cannot be booked on Jet's website directly and the flight is not coded "9W". Can you take a look? Thanks! 68.119.73.36 (talk) 02:35, 22 January 2014 (UTC)

LHR

Hey sorry for the edit but do you know air india has a flight to New York JFK from London Heathrow. If you don't trust me go on google an write AI6335 that flight is lhr to jfk. Thank you and sorry about bhx air india! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Madbid1 (talkcontribs) 19:12, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

It's a Kuwait Airways flight, not operated by Air India. HkCaGu (talk) 21:21, 24 January 2014 (UTC)

Actually Air India runs a separate flight you could double check- http://www.jfkairport.net/flights/united-kingdom/london-heathrow-jfk.htm

As explained by HkCaGu, the flight is a Air India codeshare with Kuwait Airways operating the flight! AI6335 (is the codeshare flight) and KU101 (the actual operator) is LHR-JFK. Rzxz1980 (talk) 19:03, 26 January 2014 (UTC)

Incident - Grave violation of human rights at Chek Lap Kok Airport.

There is a huge bias about what is an incident or not, a transgender woman, was sexually abused in this airport, and it was hugely reported on local and international media, but people like you is afraid to acknowledge this grave violation of human rights as an incident, please tell me how the wikipedia defines what an incident in the airport is considered? your definition is quite arbitrary and by the way discriminative, if we need some people from LGBT portal in Wikipedia coming to show what an incident mean, let me know it advance, we will bring them, there is not space for discrimination in Wikipedia, be sure about that Rubashkyn (talk) 06:46, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Two months ago, and no news media bothered to follow up. It's not notable, period/full stop. HkCaGu (talk) 07:18, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
Ok, lets going to see what the People from Wikipedia and the LGBT human rights think about that. I don't want to fight with someone who only constrain the definition of Incident related to a self-defined term. I know this is your article and your issue but don't be blind and unsensible to these issues. If you are not, I don't care, somebody will care in the LGBT english human rights in Wikipedia. Good luck. Rubashkyn (talk) 09:18, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
I came here following the edits of both of you. IMHO, this is not an incident directly related to the airport and the purpose of it, i.e, airline operations. If this incident is worth mentioning anywhere, I don't think the better place for doing so is the airport article. Nevertheless, consensus can be gained for it to be included, but this should be discussed first.--Jetstreamer Talk 10:54, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
And I concur with what Jetstreamer says above. The only place this incident may belong in the article is in the history section. But first the incident's sources must be verified as WP:RS and second a discussion should be done on whether this is even notable. There are tons of TSA acting badly stories out of the United States but few pass the notability test for mention in any airport articles....William 13:34, 3 February 2014 (UTC)

Sendai Airport

Do you know if Air China's service to Sendai Airport is seasonal or not? A user stated that the service is not seasonal but the airline just cancelled service to the airport for the winter but isn't that the same as a seasonal service (the airline plans to resume service there on 30 March 2014). Thanks! Rzxz1980 (talk) 19:58, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

It could be argued either way. But if they planned for year-round but just canceled it, then it can be said as "not" seasonal. See what you can find toward the end of the published schedule. If you can see another week in the future without flights, then it is seasonal. HkCaGu (talk) 20:03, 11 February 2014 (UTC)

Hello HkCaGu. You may be responding to another user's edits to Free area of the Republic of China by reverting them, as you may feel he is wrong with his edits. However, you are not exempt from the 3RR rule. I am also not pleased with your shouting in your edit summaries. If you persist in reverting the user's edits repeatedly, I will have to report you to WP:AN/EW. Please attempt to solve your arguments with the user in a civil and orderly manner, and not disruptively. Optakeover(Talk) 04:46, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

I have posted a message on the article talk page, at Talk:Political status of Taiwan#HkCaGu and 98.122.109.101's edits. I suggest that you take a look at it. Have a great day! Optakeover(Talk) 05:09, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

You are on the verge of edit warring. Please take it to the talk pages or you may be subject to a block. Thank you, Mkdwtalk 05:12, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

This is the end of my editing day. I'm ceasing. I'll let many other editors talk, if they even find that worth their time. Maybe they'll just revert. Meanwhile, the IP has gone into 4RR on at least two articles. I'm not even going to report him. Not today. HkCaGu (talk) 05:13, 12 February 2014 (UTC)

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370

Where is your source that "Subang Air Traffic Control Centre reported at 02:40" that the aircraft was lost? The source we do have from the airline says that contact was lost at 02:40, but there is no source to say when this was actually reported, so it's accurate to say contact had been lost at 02:40, not reported at 02:40 that contact had been lost. sroc 💬 12:49, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

Subang cannot possibly have contact with MAS370 until 02:39. Flightradar24.com (as replayed by this Youtube user [1]) shows the plane already nearly reaching the Vietnamese boundary when it was last reported at 01:20. Malaysia had handed over the plane to Vietnam. It cannot have been flown for another 80 minutes and still talking to Malaysia. So if "Subang" reported it lost, it would've been after some coordination and procedures. The airline's statement is not primary and is in this case its wording obviously not reliable. HkCaGu (talk) 13:01, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
Best reliable source: [2] HkCaGu (talk) 13:05, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for this. Your edit summaries didn't provide a source to justify the claim and contradict the airline's account. I've added the source to the article in order to reflect the time. sroc 💬 14:05, 8 March 2014 (UTC)

China Southern's flight from CAN to FRA

Starting 20 June 2014, China Southern will be launching service from Guangzhou to Frankfurt as per http://airlineroute.net/2014/03/04/cz-fra-s14/. But the flight makes a stop in Changsha (however, therefore should Frankfurt be listed with domestic destinations? but IPs continue to move it to international at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport page since it make a stop at a domestic destination before heading to Frankfurt)? But I don't know if domestic/international gates at CAN are separated. Rzxz1980 (talk) 00:50, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Yes, CAN is definitely separated domestic vs. intl. As long as one can buy CAN-Changsha, the flight will operate out of domestic. HkCaGu (talk) 02:10, 9 March 2014 (UTC)
I have move it back to domestic (CZ331 CAN-CSX segment is bookable on China Southern's website and that segment uses an Airbus A332 also Changsha is not a hub for China Southern). Rzxz1980 (talk) 07:18, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

KLM destinations

Hello. Regarding this edit, the source you added does not support the claim. Actually, it does not even mention a firm date for the closure of Manston Airport but just a potential end for the activities. As I already explained in my edit summaries, references provided should directly support the statements. Even though WP:AIRLINE-DEST-CONTENT suggests the use of sources for each entry, the verifiability policy is clear in that "All quotations, and any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation that directly supports the material." My two reversion were just following a basic policy.--Jetstreamer Talk 12:03, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Then you need to understand when a "challenge" becomes disruptive. Cancellations are often quietly done since they're not PR material. A user explaining zeroing out flights (a major airline with a well organized website after all) accompanied with related news articles are enough to be verifiable. Let's focus the battle on unexplained IP edits, not good faith editors. I don't want to see Wikipedia become a place where screen-grab graphics are uploaded just to prove a point. HkCaGu (talk) 15:52, 21 March 2014 (UTC)

Albert Pyun……again

He just won't stop. He's rv the edit you and I have been dealing with the last couple of days at Albert Pyun. He's finally cited a source - to an online magazine called "Impact." It's just an interview with him. The first line of the interview reads: Impact has long championed the career of Albert Pyun... Doesn't sound like a balanced source to me if it's a verifiable source to begin with. And needless to say, the post isn't properly formatted or copy edited. Like I was actually expecting that. Readyforanderson (talk) 20:10, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Readyforanderson

Well, in reading up on WP:BIASED, I guess the source does not have to be neutral. But the cited source Pyun is using is just the interview of himself. Readyforanderson (talk) 20:25, 18 April 2014 (UTC)Readyforanderson
Regardless of neutrality or verifiability, I'd say revert until he actually writes something encyclopedic. "There is an interview (here's the reflink)." is not encyclopedic. We have no obligation to help him. I almost want to call this "ABF" (in contrast to "AGF"). HkCaGu (talk) 23:21, 18 April 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, I agree. I guess in a way I did revert for it not being encyclopedic on those grounds. I listed shortcut WP:WHATISTOBEDONE on my edit summary. Readyforanderson (talk) 00:18, 19 April 2014 (UTC)Readyforanderson

Korean Air launches service to Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport this Friday

Hi, HkCaGu

I have announced that Korean Air have launching service to Houston about Friday at 18:00 CST and I prefer to edit them on the articles like George Bush Intercontinental Airport and Incheon International Airport after it was Friday.

I'm going to George Bush Intercontinental Airport after I'm ready to go and see it was updated! Korean Air's featured destination! --Allen Nguyen (Talk) 20:42, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

I cannot understand the purpose of your messages, and even your edits. Here at Wikipedia, we edit and discuss edits. We don't "announce". We don't care about what's "featured". Please get your acts together to avoid a WP:COMPETENCE issue. HkCaGu (talk) 20:46, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

Thanks for your reply, then I have something to do to edit on articles which completely in service! --Allen Nguyen (Talk) 22:49, 27 April 2014 (UTC)

Albert Pyun has created a page called Cinema of Guam

Pure vandalism. Readyforanderson (talk) 03:20, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Readyforanderson

Not sure how to get the article in the discussion process of speedy deletion. Don't have any experience with that. I'll have a look aroundReadyforanderson (talk) 03:36, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Readyforanderson
I tagged it for speedy deletion. Is that the end of the process or does there need to be editor consensus?Readyforanderson (talk) 03:44, 28 April 2014 (UTC)Readyforanderson

When you get a chance, can you keep an eye on this page? Atlanta is constantly being added to the destinations list for Delta (the flight passes thru Delta hub JFK) and the flight requires a plane and/or gate change. I have left a message to the editor about it (he actually posted on WT:AIRPORTS regarding the destinations lists and another editor directed him to WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT). Thanks! Rzxz1980 (talk) 02:16, 9 May 2014 (UTC)

Don't delete discussions

Hello, HkCaGu. It has come to my attention that you have recently deleted part or all of the text on a talk page, that was not vandalism. This is a violation of one the policies on the wiki, in which you can not delete discussions from a talk page with exception of obvious vandalism, flaming, or spam. If you would like to archive your talk page, please ask an administrator. If you continue to delete discussions off talk pages, you will eventually be subject to a block. Thank you for understanding, have a nice day!

This is where you removed sections off my talk page here. --Allen Nguyen Talk 21:58, 17 May 2014 (UTC)
Wikipedia and even your own talk page is not appropriate for those discussions. 68.119.73.36 (talk) 02:28, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
It's okay, I have announced that in my talk page but don't remove sections off my talk page or you will eventually be subject to a block. Thank you. --Allen Nguyen Talk 16:43, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
General discussion is what I want on my talk page, it supposed to be. --Allen Nguyen Talk 19:56, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
You're still misusing Wikipedia and not really contributing anywhere. Don't teach me what Wikipedia is and isn't. You need to learn or leave. HkCaGu (talk) 21:15, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
I'm contributing somewhere else, my talk page is where I announced for. If you remove sections off my talk page where misused, then you will be subject to a block on Wikipedia will be issued. --Allen Nguyen Talk 21:36, 18 May 2014 (UTC)
Stop threatening me. You have no rights on your talk page to just "announce" anything you want. That's not how it works in Wikipedia. HkCaGu (talk) 20:20, 19 May 2014 (UTC)
Sorry, my mistake. On Wikipedia, you can do anything you want to edit. Thanks, --Allen Nguyen Talk 04:23, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

Reverted edits

I saw you left a message on my talk page for reverting my edits, but I suddenly removed your messages off my talk page because I'm on Wikipedia on other articles. --Allen Nguyen Talk 23:22, 26 May 2014 (UTC)

Your actions are still not making any sense. You should really try to understand what Wikipedia is. You were very well aware that KE already started Houston, and yet you changed it to a "future" destination. If that wasn't vandalism, you are abusing Wikipedia. HkCaGu (talk) 04:37, 27 May 2014 (UTC)
Thanks for reverting it also, because I looked up on every article you edit that was good especially. I'm not abusing Wikipedia, also I looked up that was future and still there. :D --Allen Nguyen Talk 22:15, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
But still, general discussion is really to understand what you seen in the article. --Allen Nguyen Talk 02:08, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

New section on article talk, improving general discussion

You did advised me there is no general discussion on an article (only users when they improved the article was with coherent English). I know Wikipedia and how it works with users' edits, thank you. --AllenHAcNguyen (talk) 05:41, 12 June 2014 (UTC)

Sorry your English still makes no sense. Please take my advice and stay away from Wikipedia. HkCaGu (talk) 05:55, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
I'm still on Wikipedia and know English, because the way it is general discussion on articles is allowed. --AllenHAcNguyen (talk) 03:19, 13 June 2014 (UTC)
If my worth English is good, then the users will understand on article talk including general discussion. Thank you. --Allen Talk 18:13, 14 June 2014 (UTC)
I don't have to stay away from Wikipedia, because improving general discussion on article talk is allowed that way and it's supposed to stay there when I made a new section of it. My worth English is good and coherent and please do not remove sections off talk pages, thank you. --Allen Talk 05:05, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
Your English is NOT good and NOT coherent. I cannot understand one sentence you're trying to communicate. And your discussion has no value, since there is no news about UA flying IAH-ZRH, and is NOT allowed. We talk in order to improve the article. We DON'T just talk/discuss about the article, lest details about the article. HkCaGu (talk) 05:42, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
I use English only on Wikipedia and it's good and understandable. It's allowed that way on article discussion that we don't know where from IAH to ZRH but not until there's a news update for a new destination, Newark and Washington-Dulles have that destination. --Allen Talk 06:40, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
