Notes[edit]

Hi! Here are my notes:

  • The article needs more sourcing to back up claims, especially as parts of the article are unsourced.
  • Some parts of the article look to be fairly closely paraphrased from the sourcing, so if any of it is closely taken from the source material you need to re-write this.
  • The article needs a better lead into the article (aside from the title it's kind of hard for the reader to understand what you're referring to) and some general work to make it more fit Wikipedia's general style. The article on the Kraków Ghetto is a good example of how the article should be laid out.
  • The current way the article is laid out is a little too much like a general list, so it needs to be in more of a prose style.
  • Generally speaking, I would only include information about specific people if the person is particularly noteworthy - that is, that they either have an article or they're someone that is commonly written about in history texts or works about the Tarnow Ghetto. Also, Wikipedia typically doesn't go into that much detail with eyewitness accounts - the articles more go into a general overview of what the overall population went through. I wouldn't include information about what the survivor is doing, as this is seen as a little superfluous to the article, which about the ghetto specifically.

This is more style oriented and I think that the Kraków Ghetto article can help a lot on that end. It doesn't have to be as big as the article, but it's a good general overview of what readers will be looking for and how to make it accessible. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:18, 7 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
