Vang Pao on Hmong people page

[edit]

Thanks for all of your detailed work on this recent case. However, I feel that the information is most appropriate for the Vang Pao article, or maybe a new article specifically about the case. As it is, it appears that you have placed the greatest amount of detail about the case on the Hmong people page. This seems rather disproportionate since Vang is only one Hmong person out of many. Perhaps we can move more of the detail to his article and keep an overview of the case on the Hmong people page. It might also be more appropriate to move it to the "Hmong in the Americas" subsection or have greater detail in the Hmong American article. Thanks. Nposs 20:46, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, from my reading, nine of the 10 arrested were Hmong and, of course, Vang Pao is widely considered a leader of the Laotian Hmong, so I'd suggest keeping it in, though I don't feel too strongly either way. HmongEditor

Keep up the good work! Sincerely, Rusty Dr. B. R. Lang (talk) 18:18, 10 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I saw your impressive work on Son Sann, Sihanouk and the KPNLF - could I interest you in joining Wikiproject Cambodia? We could use active editors like you in the project. Cheers, Paxse (talk) 16:24, 23 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
