Daniel Lapin[edit]

Jayrav: Can you please elaborate further on why you felt it was necessary to revert my edits to Daniel Lapin? I would very much appreciate your help before I revisit this page...particularly since I used the Daniel Lapin talk page (and offered to share my thoughts/edits there first) and received zero responses in three weeks. My intention was not to rewrite the entry “to my liking,” but rather to correct inaccuracies, provide verifiable third-party sources and make updates. As it stands, the entry is NOT written in a neutral point of view, and it is filled with broken source links and unverified information…in many cases information that is erroneous.

Much of the information of the original entry is still in the version I posted on 12/15, and much of it was simply restructured to fit within the appropriate headings. (In fact, I’m wondering if the way I edited makes it appear that I made more changes to the content than I actually did…I’m admittedly not an expert at the code and in some cases had to cut and paste old code for that reason, which maybe appears as an edit?)

You can see my 11/23 entry on the Daniel Lapin talk page under the heading "Unsourced Quotes/Sections". If there was another talk page where you would’ve noticed this and feel it should’ve gone to, I would appreciate you letting me know. In the meantime, I would very much like to hear your thoughts behind your reversion, and would very much appreciate your assistance in making this page as accurate as possible. Great care was taken in updating this entry and I want to be sure that other editors are comfortable with my changes before I approach it again. Thank you!

Thank you! --Hmsc (talk) 12:49, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The article Raphael Lapin has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Vanity article that fails WP:PROF

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
