Hello! I appreciate your comment on the subcategory, suggest it for deletion if you feel that's the best solution. Kind regards, --Missmarple (talk) 18:35, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Reverting inaccurate claim

If you want to revert the bogus cite in Delaware, you ought to provide a reliable source for the information. But we've been here before Tedickey (talk) 22:10, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

February 2008

Please do not add content without citing reliable sources, as you did to Ravi Zacharias. Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources please take this opportunity to add your reference to the article. Contact me if you need assistance adding references. Thank you. Creation in Genesis

Could you do me a favour and transfer my additions to a sandbox? - I have no idea how to do that.

As for Mosaic authorship, I don't want to remove it from the article, just from that section - in my suggested revision, the new section is about biblical scholarship, but I want to keep a subsection on Creationism, within a Theology section. Creationism isn't scholarly - it has no scholarly support at all - but it's a significant popular view and should be discussed with tact and sensitivity to the feelings of those who hold it. PiCo (talk) 17:47, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Someone who is able to say with a straight face "creationism has no scholarly support at all" probably shouldn't be writing on the topic. HokieRNB (talk) 17:52, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Userboxes query

I have used your "visit" userboxes to document my travels. I hope you are ok with that. (I give you credit on my user page.) However, two userboxes don't come up with flags: Netherlands or The Netherlands; Vatican City. Do you know why? Thanks once again. Bellagio99 (talk) 18:02, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks Hokie. It seems to have fixed itself, or else (cause I really don't understand these things), when you fixed the code, it must have propagated through to fix the userboxes on my system that I had borrowed from you. And I would not have known how to edit the code -- even how to get into it to edit. I am more a writer than a programmer. Thanks, once again. Bellagio99 (talk) 01:36, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:FPLP Michael.png)

Thanks for uploading Image:FPLP Michael.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 23:40, 25 February 2008 (UTC)

Question

Hi! I was wondering if you could explain this edit to me.. I don't think it meets the requirements in WP:EL#In biographies of living people... Relata refero (talk) 20:11, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for your question. I can only assume that you are suggesting that either the text from the 2004 article in India Abroad or its rebuttal falls under the "questionable sources or sources of dubious value" category. I would say that in general those links meets the criteria "Sites with other meaningful, relevant content that is not suitable for inclusion in an article, such as reviews and interviews." The first linked site establishes the context for the response in the second site (both originally published in India Abroad, a perfectly legitimate source). Unfortunately, the full text is not freely available from the original source (but can be previewed in places such as here). There seems to be no reason to distrust the text offered from the geocities site, as it appears to be a faithful reproduction of the original source. The same argument for the response site. I noticed you had participated in previous discussions about this article. Please feel free to comment on some of the recent changes. Thanks. Maher-shalal-hashbaz (talk) 16:24, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

On Galt

Please take another look at the Galt article if you will. I have added additional interviews, articles, keynots and dates to show notability. Thank you for the time. Artsojourner (talk) 21:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

Re:Removal of comments

I've already replaced them into the relevant section...because I figured it wasn't worth fighting over. I stand behind my removal. If a discussion is to be had about what should or should not be a featured article, that's a topic for another talk page. --OnoremDil 19:31, 16 April 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of List of victims of the Virginia Tech massacre

I have nominated List of victims of the Virginia Tech massacre, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of victims of the Virginia Tech massacre (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Jmlk17 04:37, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Cross namespace redirect

I noticed that a redirect to the mainspace article List of victims of the Virginia Tech massacre exits in your user space (User:HokieRNB/List of victims of the Virginia Tech massacre) - cross namespace links are generally discouraged and I was wondering if you'd be willing to change the content of the page or as the only author nominate it for speedy deletion via criterion G7 (Author requests deletion). Otherwise it could be taken for WP:RFD. Regards, Guest9999 (talk) 11:59, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
