Youve been renamed as per request[edit]

Hello,

You've been renamed as per request. I'm blocking the old account now... by some bug I got logged in as it when I recreated it :( Pakaran 01:32, 29 July 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Differentials in roman[edit]

Hi, I stumbled across your homepage while looking for something completely different and felt compelled to comment. There was a discussion about roman/italic d in the context of also considering whether the constants e, i should be roman or italic, at Talk:Complex number#The non-italic writing style of the imaginary unit. Was this the right place to have the discussion? Probably not. But I would point out (i) that Wikipedia should establish a convention and stick to it, (ii) that there seemed to be a consensus there for italics, though not a huge one and (iii) you could always (re)raise the issue at such a place as Wikipedia:WikiProject Physics and/or Wikipedia:WikiProject Mathematics (once you've read the existing discussion, obviously.) —Blotwell 08:39, 11 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Resource fork[edit]

All the information from the Japanese Wikipedia article for resource fork has been translated and added to the English article, as you requested. It might require editing to make it consistent, and should probably be given some sort of structure, since at the moment the first section is a series of paragraphs with little connection between them. - Grgcox 16:06, 18 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Untagged image[edit]

An image you uploaded, Image:Evlut.png, was tagged with the {{coatofarms}} copyright tag. This tag was deleted because it does not actually specify the copyright status of the image. The image may need a more accurate copyright tag, or it may need to be deleted. If the image portrays a seal or emblem, it should be tagged as {{seal}}. If you have any questions, ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. -- 01:56, 30 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
