Note on giving warnings[edit]

Please do not copy and paste warnings. The arguement that if you should get a warning, another should get a warning doesn't work. I was also not in any breach of 3RR. Finally, you should not change pages without consensus.

I know, I know. But I left wiki for a while because I was fed up with this sort of stuff. The 2 of us were edit-warring and suddenly another user who seems to share the same opinion as you on every topic of debate turns up out of no where to give me a warning...so you can understand why I took the warning to you aswell. It just seems a little suspect and I'm not saying that you are communicating privately but it does seem to be a case that where there is one, another is sure to follow. It doesn't matter. If we could continue the discussion on the issue, that would be great. Do you have a template used for NIR Railway routes? like I said on the Line talk page, the template just asks for 'name' in the infobox and according to NIR, the line is called 'Londonderry Line'. And if the wiki name for the city superseeds this then do we need to change the name of the port aswell as it serves the city, or even the Newspaper 'LondonderrySentinal'. Where does it end?Homebirdni (talk) 16:32, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NorthernCounties is already aware of the 3 revert rule, negating my need to warn him at all. You were apparently not aware of it, meaning there was a need to warn you. O Fenian (talk) 16:44, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No, I was aware of 3RR but thanks for your concern. I'm guessing NorthernC has been involved in edit wars before? Anyway, I think myself and NorthernCounties can discuss this out without your help.Homebirdni (talk) 16:52, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Alas, I am indeed human. And just because editors are both active on one topic area doesn't mean that it should be suspicious. I believe Factocop created a sockpuppet case against us which dispelled this once and for all. It wouldn't take someone intelligent whom was removed from the Derry/Londonderry debate to know O Fenian and I have very different contribution and editing habits. Finally, if you want to see other route names, refer to the NIR page or if you feel the need Iarnrod Eireanns. --NorthernCounties (talk) 16:53, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Also, no we won't discuss it by ourselves as Wikipedia is a community project. Not one were just two editors decide the outcome. All who feel the need should contribute. --NorthernCounties (talk) 16:55, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
ok, then discuss. I've left comments on the Line talk page so feel free to follow them up.Homebirdni (talk) 17:02, 24 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 19:38, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked[edit]

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

I am not a sock. What else can I say. Sure, I've come to blows with some other users but surely a disagreement is not enough to exclude me. I am not Factocop. I had previously been accused of being user:Afterlife. All because we seem to be on the same side. I wish to be unblocked unless some substantial evidence can come to light because as yet I have seen none. Only one user has presented evidence and its flimsy at best. Please unblock me as I am not a sock

Decline reason:

If we unblocked everyone who said they weren't a sock just because they said so, everyone who discussed other editors more than themselves, everyone who requested a Checkuser be done, we'd have no point in having a sockpuppet policy. And from what I've seen, your does-not-play-well-with-others attitude is enough to justify this block apart from the sockpuppetry investigations. — Daniel Case (talk) 17:19, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Also can a check User also be done because here <<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Derry#Ireland_For_Dummies>> NorthernCounties has also accused anom. IP 78.146.87.16 of being me and/or Factocop all because they disagree with certain users.

Also very funny that both NorthernCounties and HighKing contributed to my SPI. Notice how they both sign off with --. oooohhhh. They must be socks of each other. Well certainly that is the sort of evidence being used against me. Homebirdni (talk) 12:33, 26 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
