June 2023[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Paper9oll. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Everglow, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 06:04, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello!
Oh, I understand. Although, I cited a post from Choeaedol's official Naver blog. Since the award was Choeaedol Popularity Award, wouldn't it count as a reliable source? HoneyKpop (talk) 14:39, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi!
On Wikipedia, blogs are a bit complex to work with. News blogs can suffice for verifiability purposes in some circumstances, but personal blogs are rarely good sources. Social media in general has limited places where usage as a source is acceptable. In short, blogs and other not peer reviewed content is better avoided if other sources are available because they're iffy as good references. I'm not familiar with this particular source, but those policies can help you evaluate your sources. Hope this helps! Happy editing, Perfect4th (talk) 04:13, 27 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

November 2023[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Slay (Everglow song), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 06:54, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry about that. Can I ask for that information to be removed? The key of "Slay" is A minor, the source is inaccurate. There's no source that indicates the actual key of the song. However, if a piece of information is incorrect, I don't think it should be included in the article. HoneyKpop (talk) 16:16, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for March 29[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Dynamic Duo (South Korean duo), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page PH-1. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

June 2024[edit]

Warning icon Please stop. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at Zombie (Everglow song), you may be blocked from editing. Paper9oll (🔔📝) 07:10, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I would like to know what "unsourced or poorly sourced content" you're talking about. I just removed a piece of information that said that the song's key is E minor, when it is actually B minor. I couldn't find any other reliable source that proves my point, so I just removed that sentence. I also think it's worth mentioning that the fact that a piece of information comes from a "generally reliable source" doesn't always mean it's accurate; this is not my first time seeing Tunebat showing the wrong key.
While I agree with you most of the times and I consider you a source of help for growing as a contributor to Wikipedia, I find this meassure arbitrary. I will not change your edit back, but I would appreciate it if you took my point into account. Thanks anyway for reaching out to me! HoneyKpop (talk) 16:17, 15 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
