Brian: Just wanted to mention that in my "Open Letter to Madeleine Peyroux" there is not one factual statement that is not backed up by third party documentation; mostly deposition transcripts and in some cases video of depositions. All of these deposition sources can be checked against court records that available to the public. . Other documentation consists of letters between lawyers and original photos of letters from Ms. Peyroux. In the opening paragraph, I also request all parties involved to report if there is any information that is not accurate. All parties have read the letter and none have mentioned a single inaccuracy. It appears that you removed my edit without having read the letter it references. The letter is in fact a compendium of primary source documentation.

You describe yourself as a moral person. It is morally wrong and contrary to the spirit of Wikipedia to censor a thoroughly documented Wikipedia entry just because the factual content makes you uncomfortable. Incidentally, the letter does not say anything negative about Ms. Peyroux, and is only critical of her lawyers and manager, who according to Madeleine's own testimony have lied to her for nearly four years at great harm to her. If you have any questions you may contact me at wgalison@aol.com. Better yet, please read the Open Letter.

If there is permission from the author why can't it be used?--Gnosis 02:07, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes before placing the text on the site I emailed her and informed her. There was actually a citation on there awhile back. I personally don't remember removing it, so it would have had to be someone else who removed it. I will replace the text with the appropriate credits again. Thanks--Gnosis 14:28, 5 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

Thanks for reverting the recent vandalism to my talk page. It's much appreciated. SteveO 13:14, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

vandalism[edit]

Hello,

Back in May of 2006 you told the anonymous user under IP address 68.99.74.176 that they would be banned if they did not stop vandalizing. Well, not much has changed - they are still vandalizing right and left. They are doing a lot today with a certain page. Just wanted to let you know since you are the one who previously warned them.

Notification: changes to "Mark my edits as minor by default" preference[edit]

Hello there. This is an automated message to tell you about the gradual phasing out of the preference entitled "Mark all edits minor by default", which you currently have (or very recently had) enabled.

On 13 March 2011, this preference was hidden from the user preferences screen as part of efforts to prevent its accidental misuse (consensus discussion). This had the effect of locking users in to their existing preference, which, in your case, was true. To complete the process, your preference will automatically be changed to false in the next few days. This does not require any intervention on your part and you will still be able to manually mark your edits as being 'minor'. The only thing that's changed is that you will no longer have them marked as minor by default.

For established users such as yourself there is a workaround available involving custom JavaScript. If you are familiar with the contents of WP:MINOR, and believe that it is still beneficial to the encyclopedia to have all your edits marked as such by default, then this discussion will give you the details you need to continue with this functionality indefinitely. If you have any problems, feel free to drop me a note.

Thank you for your understanding and happy editing :) Editing on behalf of User:Jarry1250, LivingBot (talk) 21:08, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
