Invitation to WikiProject Women in Red

Women in Red

[edit]

Hi there, Persian-art-and-culture, and welcome to Women in Red. I was pleased to see your biography of Tarlan Rafiee had finally been accepted and that you are working on a draft of Leili Anvar. (I'll try to help with this later.) In connection with new biographies, you'll find some useful tips in our Ten Simple Rules. If you are drawing on translations from other language versions of Wikipedia, to avoid copyright problems you should follow the advice in Help:Translation. In any case, we hope to see many more articles about notable Persian women. You might like to sign up under "New registrations" on Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/New members where others will be able to see your interest in the project. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 09:05, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @Ipigott
Thank you very much for your kind message. it's a pleasure to be part of this noble cause; and this is my duty to introduce notable women from my motherland and my culture to a vaster audience.
Very best and thanks for your support. Persian-art-and-culture (talk) 09:44, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I've tidied Leili Anvar up a bit, added missing references and moved the article to mainspace. Please let me know when you think your next draft is ready.--Ipigott (talk) 10:19, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you so much @Ipigott; I will. very best! Persian-art-and-culture (talk) 10:26, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hello again, I was working on another draft for some days and today I submited it. I will appreciate if you take a look. and sorry to bother you all the time, I'm so new and I am still learning.
Draft:Anahita Ghabaian Etehadieh Persian-art-and-culture (talk) 15:20, 3 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The article may be a good translation of the Persian but it is very brief. I suggest you at least rewrite the bullet-point section in running text. You can also find other useful sources, for example this biography from Arles and this review of Breathing Space. See what you can do.--Ipigott (talk) 08:30, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, Thank you very much for your guidance. I'll work on it. Persian-art-and-culture (talk) 09:34, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Jalil Rasouli, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Iranian. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Hi Hounaam. Thank you for your work on Khandan Castle. Another editor, Moriwen, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Given that this is identified with Zadracarta, should the two articles be merged?

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Moriwen}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Autopatrolled granted

[edit]

Hi Hounaam, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.

Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.

Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Just Step Sideways from this world ..... today 23:35, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Dear @Just Step Sideways,
Thank you very much for granting me the autopatrolled user right. I am truly honored and will strive to live up to the responsibility that comes with this. I understand the importance of maintaining the high standards expected of me, and I will continue to learn from the guidance of experts and admins.
I am committed to improving the quality of my work, adding the appropriate WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and links to articles. I look forward to contributing further and perhaps even assisting in new page patrol duties in the future.
I greatly appreciate this opportunity, and I won’t disappoint!
Best regards,
Hounaam Hounaam (talk) 09:02, 17 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
