Thank you for an inspiring meetup :)[edit]

Dear Heidi, Thank you so much for all you did to make the SF ArtAndFeminism meetup a resounding success! :) Coordinating and editing at the same time had to be difficult to do. But both you did, and hats off to you for trying. :) I'd mentioned to Cullen328 that getting to meet other volunteers in person and edit the encyclopedia together, especially on a topic of common interest and societal significance, like art and feminism, is a good thing. It creates camaraderie, esprit de corps, and the sense that we were doing good together: non nobis, sed omnibus. :) I'm really happy to have met you, Heidi, and again I'm very grateful to you. Sincerely, Msannakoval (talk) 05:34, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I, too, enjoyed the event immensely, although I wish we had done quick introductions and a brief wrap up at the end. And your comment here, Msannakoval, makes me wish that I had been a better student of both Latin and French. Fortunately, I have both Google and Wikipedia to aid my understanding. Cullen328 Let's discuss it 06:08, 3 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
