Introduction To Homelessness[edit]
Poverty and Homelessness: Our World was compiled to be a reference for students who are taking a course in community-service that is focused on those members of our communities who are living at or below the poverty line or have become homeless. Articles that follow describe causes and conditions of the homeless populations and sub-populations in the USA (e.g., children, battered women, families). This compendium includes a section on social justice, and responsibilities for the care and just treatment of those living in homeless circumstances. This is not meant to be a definitive text...but it is hope this text will serve as an introduction for the student or interested person to issue(s)of homelessness in the United States today.Hrodinsk (talk) 22:52, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
