Adoption[edit]

Hello, Hrollins! I see that you have expressed an interest in being adopted by an experienced editor. I accept your request, being an experienced editor myself. Whether you want to learn about wiki markup, find something to do, or just talk to somebody, I'm the one you can talk to - just leave a message on my talk page. Good luck with Wikipedia! --lEoN2323 21:15, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Bit[edit]

Well done on making an edit like that. Can I just ask if you have had any experience with any other wiki or something similar? --lEoN2323 21:20, 5 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Reply to my contribution to the "bit" article[edit]

I wasn't sure of where to reply to your message to me, but my answer to your question is no. I haven't had any other experience with any other wiki.

"Bit"[edit]

Woops, I forgot to sign my message below. (Hrollins 19:04, 10 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]

The way that replying normally works on Wikipedia is that you reply on the same page as the source of the discussion. Let's say that someone was talking about something at Wikipedia talk:Wikipedia, people would reply on the same page. I've moved your comments over to this page. By the way, you get used to attaching your signature at the end of any message. --lEoN2323 19:08, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Anyway, it's great having you back on the wiki. Would you like to ask me anything in particular about how wikis work. Really you can ask me anything (except for complicated things like ParserFunctions, php and sql of course). --lEoN2323 19:12, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As you're a new user, I thought that I might introduce you to Wikipedia:New user log. This is where new users can tell us a little bit about yourself. Most important, we would like to know about your interests (for which we have a separate page), your areas of knowledge, and the sorts of things you'd like to work on here at Wikipedia. That makes it easier for us to help you start editing. We'd also appreciate it if you told us how you found out about Wikipedia. --lEoN2323 21:26, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
