October 2016[edit]

There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing.

If you intend to make useful contributions about some topic other than your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. — ξxplicit 06:05, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

HUBBLE.ME Hubble.me is a free mobile app owned and edited by Next Doors Entertainers Inc, a for profit Canadian corporation founded in 2014. Launched in July 2016 Hubble.me is mainly used by non-corporate professionals and artists to promote themselves and to be more visible thanks to “check-in” and “mapping features”. Hubble.me allows users (professionals and fans) to create profiles pages and to search for professionals and artists around them by categories, by geo-localization or by name. When at work or attending an event or a meeting professionals and artists may use the check-in feature to inform their fans where they are and for how long. They are automatically geo-localized on the map's app and every one can found them. Non corporate professionals and artists posted photos and videos about their work and achievements, they receive appreciations and comments from fans and clients who followed them. As online social network Hubble.me offers, check-in and mapping services, news feed (text, photos, videos) professionals rating system, sharing and recommendations options, followers and fans connections and notifications when followers make new posts or comments or when users get messages. A private messenger service is available since July 2016. Additionally, users can complain to inappropriate content and block unpleasant people. Users can register as professional or client. Hubble.me allows clients and fans to post public appreciations and ratings towards professionals and artists and not towards the establishment for which they work. The app tag lines are: “Check-in and let your world see you are in”, “Find the best professionals around you”, “Bring your job to success”. Hubble.me is accessed by all mobile phones and tablet computers As of October 2016, after four months of operation, Hubble.me has users registered in 41 different countries and is available in English and French languages. HISTORY The company Next Doors Entertainers Inc was founded in 2014 in Toronto, Canada by Xavier Pietri and Marilyn Benlolo with the mission to offer to non-corporate professionals and artists a free platform to promote themselves in order to obtain more clients and fans and to secure a tangible customer base. It took two years to design and develop the mobile app on IOS and Android . The main features are the “check-in” and “mapping”. A first app trial version, to assess the product toward Canadian consumer’s groups, has been launched in July 2015. The app latest version which include a private messenger service has been launched in July 2016. FUNDING As of October 2016 the funding of the app development and operation has been entirely done by the founders.

I fully understand your argument but I think there is a confusion between my user name and the subject of the article on Hubble.me app. First of all I suggest to change my user name in order to avoid such confusion which drive you and the readers to the fast conclusion that this article is a " blatant example of advertising". It is absolutely not. It is a legitimate and fair article about a new social network/ app on the social media scene. The article goal is just to be informative without any publicity . There is no advertising or promotion in this article, but only fact ( which will need of course to be demonstrated by adding sources etc.) If you still believe the content is an advertisement please propose words or sentences deletions; I will be happy to consider them. Additionally tell me what is not acceptable and I will bring the necessary corrections.

I do not think the fact to name a company and to evoke such new development is a matter of advertising. If you look at facebook, LinkedIn, or any others IT companies page you will find the same approach than the one developed on Hubble.me article; informative and facts.

Thank you in advance to consider to unblocked me and to help me to publish on Hubble.me

Best regards

Vaikivi

An example of marketing speak in your draft was "with the mission to offer to non corporate professionals and artists a free platform to promote themselves in order to obtain more clients and fans and to secure a tangible customer base". To get unblocked you'll have to agree not to edit Hubble.me in future. PhilKnight (talk) 23:51, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your point, but describing a company mission is not a marketing speak. It illustrate what the company do, what the company offer to the community. Many IT companies content on Wikipedia describe their mission , business model and it is not considered as marketing speak. But again if you still believe it is marketing speak we can remove the sentence regarding the mission.

You asked me to agree not to edit Hubble.me in the future. I have no problem with that, others will certainly do.

Best regards
