My concern is that editors may not insert their own,however literate, interpretation on the derivation of a name. That would be WP:OR, no matter how strong the editors credentials were. If you have WP:RELY reference that supports your derivation, (and it should be made by more than one expert, not just WP:FRINGE of the type seen on television or something) fine, go ahead. I'm not trying to stop progress here. I didn't see that the insertion was supported by scholarly reference. If it was, I apologize. Student7 (talk) 20:21, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
