Welcome!

Hello, Hwmnbn, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!  shotwell 13:38, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Responding to {{helpme}}[edit]

I think you're referring to this edit in which I removed some stuff you entered. I reverted your edit because "radical conservatives" can be a loaded term and doesn't really fit with the neutral point of view policy. If some secondary source has called them "radical conservatives", say Z Magazine, then it would be ok to write something like, "According to Z Magazine, radical conservatives did this, this, and this.". shotwell 15:52, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I forgot to say that the best way to contact an individual editor is on their talk page. You can leave me comments on my talk page. Also, your userpage is generally for information about yourself as a wikipedian. Some people will get a little confused or not notice your messages if you reply or leave messages on your userpage. shotwell 15:56, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"threats"[edit]

Hi HWM,

I temporarily removed the 'threats' section. Lets work on it on the article's 'talk' page and reach a consensus version. - F.A.A.F.A. 20:36, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please remember to add a brief 'edit summary' describing what you added or changed. Thanks! - F.A.A.F.A. 22:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Feel free to join the discussion on the talk page as well. (click the "discussion" tab on the top of any article for it's "talk" page.) Sign your comments on the talk page (but not in articles) with four tildes - ~~~~ - and the wiki software will attach your name and a timestamp for you. One bit of content advice: statements of fact generally need to cite a source. I would recommend reading WP:V and WP:OR as a good start to making encyclopedic contributions. Welcome, and have fun. This newbie has a lot to learn. I appreciate everyone's patience and I think we can have some fun here. Now let's see if I can sign this....Hwmnbn 03:32, 22 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
