This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Robert J. Vanderbei, and it appears to be a substantial copy of http://www.princeton.edu/~rvdb/Bio.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. • If you have permission from the author, leave a message explaining the details at the talk page of the new article and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the CC-By-SA or compatible license or released into the public domain leave a note at the talk page of the new article with a link to where we can find that note.
  • If you own the copyright to the material, you may either send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the CC-By-SA and GFDL, and note that you have done so on the talk page of the article, or place a note releasing the material as above at the external site. See Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for instructions.

Thank you. Moonriddengirl (talk) 04:39, 1 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. I got your note at my talk page; I'm afraid that the text is no longer hosted at Princeton doesn't really help us unless we get a specific release from somebody associated with the site, by one of the methods above. Pulling content from publication doesn't efface copyright in it. Is it possible for the webmaster where the material was originally hosted to write us? --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:58, 20 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
