My name is Shayne Bowman and I speak frequently on participatory journalism, citizen journalism, social software and information design. I co-wrote, with Chris Willis, a book on designing e-commerce web sites, Designing Web Sites That Sell [1], which was published by Rockport/Peachpit Press (May 2002). I also am the co-author of a whitepaper on participatory journalism called, "We Media: How Audiences are Shaping the Future of News and Information" [2] (Sept. 2003) for The Media Center at American Press Institute. I co-author a weblog on participatory journalism called Hypergene MediaBlog [3].
