[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style, as you did in A Perfect Getaway, disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Per WP:FILMPLOT, please keep the plot section under 700 words. Please don't copy text from Fandom
[edit]Without attribution, it's a licensing violation because the text on Fandom is licensed under a Creative Commons license, similar to Wikipedia. It's also excessively detailed. DanCherek (talk) 21:27, 25 November 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 21:58, 11 July 2022 (UTC)
Piper's character description on the S.H.I.E.L.D. character's page.
[edit]I liked your additions to Piper's character description on the S.H.I.E.L.D. character's page. It filled in a few gaps in my knowledge about the show.
I'm sorry those two other editors keep reverting everyone's edits. I tried pointing out the Wikipedia 5 Pillars, but they won't let anyone make any changes. BradVesp (talk) 20:30, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- Thankyou, it took me a while. However everything has been deleted again which is a bit annoying I'm not too sure why. Thankyou Iamannoyednow (talk) 07:31, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
- Man, those guys are bummers. I quit watching the page because they won't let anyone address new content. I'd get more involved in your edit, but I'll get distracted by this, I'm trying to limit distraction for the next couple of weeks.
- Maybe try rephrasing it (slimming it down some) and then getting some comments at the Wikipedia:Teahouse (or Wikipedia:Peer_review); note the Wikipedia:Five_pillars there, especially WP:5P3 and WP:5P5 and the policy where one need not cite the obvious (I can't find a link for it). [edit]Hello. I wanted to let you know that your recent edit(s) to the Titanic (1997 film) plot summary have been removed because they added a significant amount of unnecessary detail. Please avoid excessive detail and high word counts when editing plot summaries/synopses. You may read the plot summary edit guides to learn more about contributing constructively to plot summaries/synopses. There are also specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 04:09, 19 August 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Please refrain from making changes to plot summaries/synopses that conflict with the plot summary edit guides, as you did at Rope (film). You may wish to review the specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. Excessive detail and high word counts should be avoided. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. DonIago (talk) 07:51, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
