January 2018[edit]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Bobbi Kristina Brown, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:31, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Help[edit]

Can you help me on a page please? Iamthecece (talk) 02:26, 12 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'll have a go. I'm guessing the page you'd like help with is Bobbi Kristina Brown, seeing as that is the only page you have edited, and you have been reverted repeatedly.
It seems you want to add a detail to the page. That's great, if - AND ONLY IF - you can back it up with a credible source for the information, and include the back-up with the info. Like: "here's the link to the BBC report" or "the interview in Vanity Fair where the person says so herself" or whatever it is. And note "credible". That is significant, obviously it can't just be your cousin's aunt told you so, but nor can it be some gossipy tabloid or website.
That's the reason your addition has been reverted - not because it isn't true or someone wants it a secret or nobody likes you - just that you have to give proof. Everything on Wikipedia needs to be "sourced", and a reference included to the source. You see in the article at the end of some sentences there's a little number? If you click on it, it takes you to the references section and a link to the proof of whatever was said in the article. So you can be confident it's true.
The other posts on this page have links to read more about it, and Oshwah has invited questions if you have any, by asking him on his talk page.
I hope that helps a little, best of luck cheers! Captainllama (talk) 03:39, 13 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
