Firstly want to note that you have just edited a section of the article, specificaly 1. History.

You have kept a good chronological structure.

You've chosen an interesting topic to expand on.

It is well referenced, although it seems reference 2 doesn't work.

You were not clear about adding that John Reith quote on harm at the bottom of "BBC versus other media".

My main suggestion: I would think about trying to trim some existing material. E.g. 5 paragraphs on the 3 years 23-26 with no sources.
