Re:FTF images

Hi- yeah, sorry, this is fiddly. Basically, permission for Wikipedia to use the images is not enough- instead, they need to be released under a free license or into the public domain. If you could get an email from the band saying that they are happy for the images to be released under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 (which is explained here- that license is a common one used) then you could tag the images by placing {{cc-by-sa-3.0}} at the bottom of the image page, and add a note in the 'licensing' field on the information template that email permission has been forwarded to OTRS. Then, forward the email permission (along with a quick explanation of the images it applies to) to the Wikimedia OTRS team as explained here. So, yeah, complicated, but the next step is to get explicit permission from the band for the images to be released under a free license. If permission to release under a free license or into the public domain cannot be acquired, then I am afraid the images will have to be deleted. As tagged now, you have five days before the images will be deleted. Often, it is easier just to take your own photos, as you can license them how you like and not have to worry about forwarding emails. Feel free to drop me a line if I can be of help. Fuck the Facts article

To be quite honest, I'm not sure how to how to source information like that (in fact, I'm not used to citing using Wikipedia's template in general). I'm sure your music theory background is excellent; it's merely just that I noticed this from the first time I nominated the article to be a Good Article: "The whole musical style section is unreferenced and possible original research.", and according to a Wikipedia policy, "all material in Wikipedia must be attributable to a reliable, published source." It's a shame, I really like the article as it is now, and, other than the two sound samples provided, I realize it might be hard to find a reliable source for something like the musical style. Maybe a sound sample from the middle period might help, as there are samples from the early and later period, but I'm stumped as to where to find any reliable, written sources. --GVOLTT ^{How's my editing?}\_{My contribs} 19:54, 5 August 2009 (UTC)

Hey! I saw you updated the Fuck the Facts members' lists to include Marc as a full-time member. I'm wondering if it's necessary to have him listed under the Touring section as well?
