Page move discussion: Dean Smith[edit]

There is a discussion ongoing regarding whether Dean Smith should to be moved to another page. Since you had some involvement with Talk:Dean Smith#Is this the primary topic?, you might want to participate in the move discussion, which is taking place here. Domeditrix (talk) 18:24, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have participated in that, thanks - Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 22:24, 5 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Tagalog Wiki[edit]

Thanks for the heads up. I find it amusing more than anything. I'm just going to ignore. GiantSnowman 17:27, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Some people have their different opinions on it. I just think this doesn't appear to be ending there without protection on my talk page. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 17:50, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Also thanks to REDMAN 2019 for reverting nonsense which has crept to two of my user sub pages, both of which are visible at the top of this talk page. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 17:50, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome. I was having trouble with the pest yesterday and had a look to see if he had been visiting anyone else. REDMAN 2019 (talk)
Because of the filters that applies to every user's talk page, we don't have any vandals editing it so I don't watch user pages myself. But I saw two "Lexingtons" trolling the sub user page yesterday after noticing your contributions and were both non-autoconfirmed at the time of these edits. I believed that everyone below the auto-confirmed user level would be unable to edit sub user pages but it appears I was deluded.
Also I fail to see this user page is telling the truth (as seen here). Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 12:19, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Hi Iggy. Thanks for your kind message. Yes, indeed I think the issue is the most pressing of our time. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 08:49, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. It should be controlled the same way as the experienced users deal with vandalism, with the click of a mouse button. If only. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 13:44, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Happy First Edit Day![edit]

@CAPTAIN RAJU: thanks. I'm glad I have spent four years on here as a registered user. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 13:42, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Zieglers; Chenoweth; musical theatre[edit]

The edit warrior at Maddie Ziegler and Mackenzie Ziegler is also edit warring, using multiple IPs, at Kristin Chenoweth ‎and Musical theatre. Would you kindly take a look? All the best, -- Ssilvers (talk) 00:13, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Ssilvers: yep, I had a look, could well have administrators to protect these pages should that continues. Have a safe Christmas. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 16:50, 22 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. How do we get an admin to semi-protect them? -- Ssilvers (talk) 04:31, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Two ways: 1 - use the Wikipedia:Requests for page protection where an administrator can protect the pages. 2 - clicking on "rpp" and fill in the reason why it should be protected and say if it should be temporary or indefinite. Iggy (Swan) (Contribs) 09:00, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Done, thanks! -- Ssilvers (talk) 17:48, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
