Graham Potter[edit]

Evening mate. Hope you're ok. Sorry, accidentally knocked the "Thank" button. Thanks though for your comment.

Anyway, 😛, I made some good edits explaining the other section, what competition it was and adding in the Shrewsbury part on his career statistics. So you're deleting good information in my personal opinion.

Have a good one.

I saw what you've did; in order for the edits not to be reverted again, some sort of notelist tag needs to be in there. I had a look elsewhere for something similar. Re Shrewsbury, I have found one source on the stats that he participated in which may not be in the general source - I am unable to view it because a subscription is required. Vandal[edit]

Hi. The vandal return. Sockpuppet User:GARY_809 and User:AH999 See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/109.145.161.106 / https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/109.151.92.145 / https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/109.151.92.244

AH999 has been doing this for a few years with a few confirmed socks by Checkusers. These IP addresses you've listed all come from the same place. Cristian Stuani has been protected so we can't have any more disruption for now. Iggy (Swan) 15:03, 27 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. But the same guy reversing just to bother. And do not observe the official source. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/86.175.90.48 (Source: Official website: https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/football/first-team/players) -- FCBjuvenil (talk) 28 September 2019 (UTC)
I also see that there are a few extra names in there but they have played in La Liga this season. By my reckoning, this is unsourced addition per the update source link (the same as what you've did). Iggy (Swan) 19:18, 28 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, the same Sockpuppet User:GARY_809 and User:AH999 again: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/86.146.28.31 Source: Official website: https://www.fcbarcelona.com/en/football/first-team/players) -- FCBjuvenil (talk) 28 September 2019 (UTC)
Yep, at it again I've noticed as well. As a result, I see that the article and template has been disrupted very frequently. Sockpuppets are a real problem with the edit warring per page histories. Iggy (Swan) 08:41, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. The vandal and sockpuppet User:GARY_809 and User:AH999 again and again. Alexandre Pato. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/109.152.199.131 -- FCBjuvenil (talk) 1 October 2019 (UTC)
In this case, I've noticed that in the leads of his teammates that it says São Paulo FC on around five players randomly selected. This IP address does look like it comes from the same person who operated the socks. Iggy (Swan) 06:22, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Again and again. This guy has been doing this for a year just to annoy me. And he will not stop. Please put protection back on the page. -- FCBjuvenil (talk) 3 October 2019 (UTC)
I cannot protect pages but an administrator can once one of them sees WP:RFP. Iggy (Swan) 06:03, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I see that the IP address has been blocked thanks to Oshwah, one of the most famous Wikipedians on the English Wikipedia as I see the user editing a wide variety of articles. If another IP address comes by, then theres a better chance of the article being protected. This block will do for now at this stage. Iggy (Swan) 12:50, 3 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thank you very much indeed. The barnstar you left on my talk page will be a further boost for me to improve my countervandalism activity even more. --DoebLoggs (talk) 07:09, 8 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:DoebLoggs - at it again I've noticed, the vandalism never stays on the articles for a long time. The good work from you across the organisation keeps on coming when vandalism comes ASAP. Iggy (Swan) (What I've been doing to maintain Wikipedia) 14:00, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hey! A separate IP from a similar range started a second move request at Talk:Matthew Lowton, I've removed them both and made a request for page protection and/or a range block at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection#Matthew Lowton. I note that the second move request was immediately backdated by at least a week so as to fox the requested move bot and make it appear in the backlog (which is how I came across this case). As I say, I've removed them both per WP:DENY, just a heads up. Many thanks, SITH (talk) 13:30, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

SITH - Those IP's are getting on people's nerves with these move requests. Matthew Lowton has not changed his name through marriage or any other reasons. Although Jamie Vardy and Jordan Pickford have had different surnames at birth, it is not the case with Lowton's. I've closed the first one with part of the edit summary saying "feel free to remove..." so thanks for that. I shall look into the ranges of the IP addresses and see the maximum wide range before continuing on my watchlist. It seems to be more than just the xx.xxx.xxx.0/24 part. It's the following range: Special:Contribs/84.9.229.0/22. Iggy (Swan) (What I've been doing to maintain Wikipedia) 13:43, 10 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
