Speedy deletion nomination of Alan Abel of the Philadelphia Orchestra[edit]

Hello Ihavetantrums,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Alan Abel of the Philadelphia Orchestra for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Cheers, FriyMan talk 06:23, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ihavetantrums. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Alan Abel of the Philadelphia Orchestra, for deletion because it's a biography of a living person that lacks references. If you don't want Alan Abel of the Philadelphia Orchestra to be deleted, please add a reference to the article.

If you don't understand this message, you can leave a note on my talk page.

Thanks,

Cheers, FriyMan talk 06:55, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I have taken the liberty of cleaning up your first article, which you can now find at Alan Abel (musician) (difference). I'd like to submit the article for consideration at Wikipedia:Did you know?, a section of the Main Page featuring new articles but it needs a bit more content. Since you seem familiar with the subject, can you point me to some more coverage of his work in reliable sources (newspapers, media, books etc.)? Also, since you asked about uploading a picture, if you own one or it is free to use, please use this wizard at Wikimedia Commons to upload it. Remember though, the image has to be free for everyone to use, edit and redistribute. I will try to keep watch of this page but I have a lot of pages to watch, so just use {{replyto|SoWhy}} when you answer me and I will get a message. You can also reply to me on my talk page if you prefer. Regards SoWhy 16:09, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
